Of Thoughts And Happenings


1 Chronicles 17:2 Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee.

Now if  you find yourself thinking I really should  go visit a friend, or an acquaintance, be sure to do so; you just never know the joys you may bring to their heart.

Are they well, do they have family with them , maybe a kind smile and a warm hello is all that is needed  at that particular moment of their life.

We may wonder at the time, is it really my imagination?  Or is it God speaking to us …

Does it matter?  I think not… of thoughts and happenings during our day, we can always find a few moments in  time to catch our selves doing these things. yet it would far wiser to  realize that we are being directed to share some good deed with another

   Share a smile and bless them as you go on your way.

Water Jugs


Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father;

we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

A little bit of wire, some paper and some sand

An old coloured sheet found by the master’s hand

Some netting from an era past

A bit of dye that may or may not last

Birthed One Cold Winters Morn


I wrote this to my daughter  sometime back in the past, I do so hope you all enjoy it too.

I had just moved to my new address and within days there was all this news to be shared.

I had woken to find the babies birthed one cold winters’ morn, my mother dog crystal was  there with all of her little one cuddle into her to staying warm.
